Please note: We focus strictly on upholstery. We do not make curtains, car covers, or standard loose covers (though we may consider highly specific, custom loose cover requests on a case-by-case basis).
What are your opening hours, and can I visit your workshop?
Our standard workshop hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
You are more than welcome to visit us! While you can drop in during opening hours, we highly recommend booking an appointment in advance. Our daily schedule varies, and by booking ahead, we can ensure we are there to greet you and can even stay later in the afternoon if that suits you better.
How much will my upholstery project cost?
Because every piece of furniture and client requirement is completely unique, we do not have a flat price list. We price every single project separately and provide a personalised, no-obligation quote tailored to the exact specifications of your job.
Do you keep fabric and leather in stock?
We don’t typically store large quantities of fabric or leather in our workshop, but we have something even better! We hold an extensive collection of pattern books and colour cards from leading UK suppliers. You are welcome to visit us to browse and choose your perfect material. If you have a highly specific request, we can source and order the exact fabric or leather needed for your project.
Can you help me design my furniture?
Yes, we can! For straightforward custom builds, we can help bring your vision to life (an extra design fee may apply). However, because we are specialist upholsterers rather than dedicated furniture designers, highly complex projects may require a professional eye. In those cases, we partner with trusted furniture designers to collaborate on your piece, which will be priced into the project.
Do you offer a warranty on your work?
Yes, absolutely. We take immense pride in our craftsmanship. We offer a 12-month warranty covering both our workmanship and the materials we have supplied for the project.
Do you offer eco-friendly and sustainable material options?
Yes, we do! We care about the environment and offer a variety of sustainable options upon request. This includes eco-friendly and green fabrics, natural-source materials, vegan fabrics, and highly durable, easy-clean/nano-clean fabrics that extend the lifespan of your furniture.
What is your typical turnaround time?
Our average lead time for a project is 4 to 6 weeks. However, every piece of furniture is different; completion times can vary based on the complexity of the work and our current workshop schedule. We will always agree on a specific timeline with you before we begin.
Can I supply my own fabric?
Yes, you can supply your own fabric, but it must meet UK Fire Safety Regulations (BS5852) for domestic or commercial upholstery. Please consult with us before purchasing your materials, so we can advise on the required meterage and suitability for the project. (A small “C.O.M.” — Customers Own Material — handling fee may apply).
Do you provide collection and delivery services?
Yes, we can arrange collection of your furniture and delivery of the finished piece within Surrey and the surrounding areas. Please let us know your location when requesting a quote so we can include transport details.
Do your materials comply with UK fire safety regulations?
Absolutely. All foams, fillings, and fabrics supplied by us strictly comply with the UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations. Safety and quality are our top priorities.
